New England at Detroit - NFL Football Predictions Winner

The Detroit Lions and New England Patriots are the complete opposites of each other in many ways and the football betting predictions for this week's Thanksgiving game almost all seem to be going in favor of the Patriots.
The Lions are traditionally a better team on Turkey Day but they have been destroyed by the Pats recently on their traditional game day.
Can the Lions pull it together and win or at least come close against the AFC favorites?

Betting Line: NE favored by -7
The Patriots are coming off a physical, tough game against the rival Colts this weekend while the Lions lost on the road to the Cowboys.
The NFL betting predictions for this one have NE winning in most areas of the game and a likely winner even against the spread.
But the Lions have shown some signs that they're not the same old Lions this year.
They had scored more points than they had given up prior to last week's 16-point loss to Dallas. The Lions were done in by a fluke play in which they batted the ball right to a punt returner who ran down the sidelines and scored, changing the whole complexion of the game.
The football predictions bettors in Detroit have long thought the Lions had a good performance left in them.
New England showed some vulnerability on the road with a recent loss at Cleveland. Detroit's pass defense is actually solid this year and their d-line is among the NFC's best.
If Detroit can get pressure and hold down the fort in the passing game they can keep this one close.
Tom Brady is in a rhythm on offense, however, and will be tough to stop.
If Matt Stafford were healthy in this one the Lions might have a good chance.
But Shaun Hill is still playing essentially with one arm and the Lions have zero running game.
The Patriots' rhythm on offense is key going into this one and they will do just enough to win this one and cover the spread on the road because of their confidence coming in.
