Nemanja Djurisic - NCAA Picks and Tips: Arkansas Razorbacks and Georgia Bulldogs

Up-tempo Arkansas Razorbacks is one of the conference’s highest-scoring teams at 74.5 points, but ranks last in scoring defense (66.5). Meanwhile, Georgia Bulldogs, which has lost seven of eight games, is at the bottom in scoring (60.6 points). The Razorbacks will try to reverse a season-long trend Wednesday. They've been outstanding in Fayetteville, winning all four of their home SEC games, but are 0-4 in conference road games while allowing an average of 75 points.

Where: Stegeman Coliseum, Athens, Georgia
TV: ET, SEC Network

The Bulldogs have opened as 1-point favorites on SBG Global Sportsbook’s Live NCAA Basketball Odds.

Arkansas Razorbacks (16-7): Arkansas led the SEC in turnover margin and ranked second in assists coming into its game against LSU, but in the 71-65 loss the Razorbacks handed out just eight assists and turned the ball over 19 times. The Razorbacks are one of the conference’s stingiest at defending the 3-point shot (29 percent) and that should bode well against Georgia. After Wednesday, Arkansas still has three games left against teams it trails in the conference standings.

Georgia Bulldogs (10-12): Donte Williams (6-9) and Nemanja Djurisic (6-8) are the only players taller than 6-7 who receive significant playing time for the Bulldogs, who rank 11th in the conference in rebounding (32.9). But the Bulldogs might have an easier time with Arkansas as the Razorbacks are last in the SEC, allowing opponents to grab an average of 38.2 boards. Senior guard Gerald Robinson struggled in his first six conference games (25 assists, 18 turnovers), but in the last two against Auburn and Tennessee, Robinson has turned the ball over just twice while recording 11 assists.
